With over two days of heavy rain and poor weather conditions, the logistics of the festival have become a nightmare, and this morning, TomorrowWorld decided to pull the plug and release the following statement via their Facebook page: “Friends, Today – Sunday September 27 – Mother nature has decided otherwise… TomorrowWorld will only be accessible to visitors currently camping at DreamVille. Continuous rainfall over the last three days has severely limited capacity of the parking lots, entrance roads and drop off locations in and around the festival site. THIS IS A BAD IDEA Brandon Marshall recorded a rare first down for the Jets against the Eagles, but as he was getting tackled, he did something you don't really see often: He tried to lateral the ball, pitching it off Connor Barwin's face, after which Eagles LB Jordan Hicks picked it up. There was a brief debate as to whether Marshall was down, but, nope. He was clearly throwing the ball before his knees hit the ground. There's really no good reason Marshall should've done this. Typically, a wide receiver going to the ground should only ever throw a lateral if it's the last play of the game and you're losing, and the game will end if they get tackled but will continue. After the game, Marshall confirmed he was intentionally trying to lateral. He also confirmed he knows that was not a very good idea. "Wrong time to gamble," Marshall said. "I was pressing, trying to make a play. Probably the worst play in NFL history." I personally love the concept of players lateraling more frequently than they currently do, but this was not the time to try. If you are going to try a random-ass lateral, there are several things you should do. Make sure you're in full control of your body. When Legion was first announced, already I was scratching my head trying to figure out why they would announce the expac at GamesCom, instead of their own personal HUGE convention. I thought it might just be the name of the expac, and maybe a few little tidbits of info. But we actually got a full on reveal, similar to what you'd normally see at Blizzcon. Then just recently they revealed the release date and the cinematic for Legacy of the Void. I feel like they could have announced the release date, and then teased that we would get the cinematic at Blizzcon. That cinematic would have cause major hype at the opening ceremony. Blizzcon was only 2 months away, surely they could have gotten away with this. As of Tuesday, they also announced two more Overwatch characters, again, only two months until Blizzcon, this could have waited, unless they have more characters, which for some reason I doubt they'll announce more by that time, but maybe. The only things I feel like we can look forward to is more info about Legion, but not a reveal like they did at GamesCom. We might get a beta announcement for that too. Starcraft, honestly, I can't see anything being announced for that. Overwatch, we'll probably get the beta announce if we're lucky, and POSSIBLY one more character, again if we're lucky. Also I feel like the Legion cinematic could be revealed here, but not most likely. I feel like the only things we'll really be getting this year ...

Last year the Seahawks were baffled by a piece of trickeration on a Rams punt return , where one player feigned as if he was about to catch it while Stedman Bailey actually caught the ball on the other side of the field, leading to a 90-yard punt return TD. The Iraqi military announced that it would begin to share “security and intelligence” information on ISIS with Iran, Russia, and Syria, a move that further muddies the waters in the war against Islamic State. Iran and Russia have already agreed to fight “terrorists” in Syria, which could mean that Russia’s commitment to President Assad might include fighting the non-ISIS rebels supported by the US. As far as Assad is concerned, anyone who opposes him is a terrorist. But the de facto alliance of Russia, Syria, Iran, and Iraq will strengthen the hand of President Assad as the US is being shunted to the side in the fight against ISIS. Microsoft Windows 10 mobile update to Windows Phone brings with it a lot of new features to the OS, including a very controversial feature – the Android subsystem that allows Windows Mobile to run Android apps. While a few people theorized that this could lead to security issues with Windows Phone which is as secure as Android is insecure Microsoft’s strict restrictions on the use of system APIs helped squash those fears. Today, WMPU learned from certain individuals that it is possible to install and run Android on a Windows 10 mobile device using a bug in the Android runtime. Here’s a video showing off Android 5.0.2 running on the Lumia 830: We should note that while it is technically possible to run Android on a Windows Phone using this exploit, you would need several proprietary tools that only Microsoft has so your average hacker on the street cannot do this. The second caveat is that Microsoft is working on squashing this bug in future builds of Windows 10 mobile and it is most likely not even possible on the current preview builds. The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Highland Park High School pitcher Clayton Kershaw with the 7 th pick in the 2006 Major League Baseball draft. It turns out to have been a very wise decision. Kershaw has since won 3 Cy Young awards, an MVP in 2014, plus he’s regularly had his team competitive. So long as Kershaw remains healthy, the Dodgers will annually be in any discussion of the League’s championship contenders. What’s less well known is what Kershaw did right after being drafted. Awarded with a $2.3 million signing bonus, Molly Knight reports in her 2015 book The Best Team Money Can Buy that Kershaw almost immediately wrote “a half dozen checks to the people his mother had to borrow from so they could afford to stay in the Highland Park school district.” Highland Park is one of the richest locales Dallas, and as Kershaw told Knight, his mother “took on some pretty serious debt” so that he could attend public school there. Berkman is focused on the part of the law that applies to public accommodations like bathrooms; he echoes the anti-trans rhetoric used by HERO’s opponents as he urges Houston residents to vote against the measure, invoking his four daughters and his desire to protect them from “troubled men” going into women’s restrooms. “Proposition 1, the bathroom ordinance, would allow troubled men to enter women’s public bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms. (The question is, though, was he wearing Nike or Adidas ?) You see, Harden threw out a first pitch last June while wearing jorts . As someone who has been photographed while wearing jorts, I can attest this is bad if someone were ever to create a time capsule. And because the Internet is basically an electronic time capsule, I can personally attest this is bad for Harden. But there’s a shadow over the visit. Recently, Beijing has been acting against its foreign companies. It has pursued anti-trust actions and intellectual property enforcement in ways that are biased toward Chinese industry. And it has undertaken sweeping measures to prop up the country’s stock market, the ups and downs of which have reverberated globally . Scholars and media analysts alike link these moves to Xi’s quest to consolidate his own political power and safeguard the survival of the Chinese Communist Party . They also attribute these developments to growing nationalism and protectionism. But such actions are nothing new: State intervention in business activities and the stock market are Chinese business as usual. The company had not previously disclosed which apps had been affected, although many had been identified by third parties. Apple said on Sunday it was cleaning up its App Store after several cybersecurity firms reported that unknown hackers had embedded a malware, dubbed XcodeGhost, in hundreds, possibly thousands, of Chinese apps. “We have no information to suggest that the malware has been used to do anything malicious,” Apple said in its XcodeGhost Q&A Web page on Thursday. Other infected apps include Baidu Inc’s Baidu Music app, a music app from Internet portal NetEase Inc and the 58 Classified-Job, Used Cars, Rent app. Tencent Holdings Ltd owns WeChat. This is the first reported case of large number of malicious software programs making their way past Apple’s stringent app review process. While little in the way of app logistics have been revealed about the forthcoming virtual reality game, Oculus VR founder Palmer Lucky also announced it would be available from the company’s Oculus Store. Microsoft is beefing up the security capability of Windows 10 IoT Core, the compact version of Windows intended for Internet-connected devices. Microsoft’s Bitlocker data encryption technology and its Secure Boot system for only supporting trusted software will both appear in in an upcoming release of the operating system, Microsoft announced today. “By building this into IoT Core you can get these highly valuable security features without needing to build your own implementations meaning you can get your project done faster and still be more secure,” Steve Teixeira, director of program Management for the Internet of Things team in Microsoft’s Operating Systems Group, wrote in a blog post . The build packing Bitlocker and Secure Boot will become available to people participating in the Windows Insider Program, Teixeira wrote. The OS became publicly available last month following a preview that came out in April, days after the formal release of Windows 10 proper . For those who want to try it out, a new Windows IoT Core Starter Kit might be just the thing. It costs $114.95 with a Raspberry Pi 2 and $75 without the Pi. Microsoft's Garage lab has churned out another productivity-minded application, this time for the iPhone. Invite is an iOS-first app that purports to simplify the process of inviting others to meetings. The process is straight-forward. The organizer picks a time that works for him or her and then invites potential attendees through their email address. Attendees will get an email (or a notification if they have Invite installed) and can respond with times that work for them. Once all invitees have responded, the organizer can pick the time that works for the largest group of potential attendees and set the meeting time. After the meeting time is set, it is added to respondents' calendars. Microsoft says Invite will work best for those with Office 365 subscriptions, but it also functions with Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo mail. DirectX 12 is now out in the wild as a part of Windows 10 and the updated driver model WDDM 2.0 that comes with it. Unlike DX11, there are no major gaming titles at launch - we are now waiting for games to take advantage of DX12 and what difference it will make for the game playing experience. One of the main focal points of DX12 is draw calls , leveraging multiple processor cores to dispatch GPU workloads, rather than the previous model of a single core doing most of the work. DX12 brings about a lot of changes with the goal of increasing performance, offering an even more immersive experience, but it does shift some of the support requirements to the engine developers such as SLI or Crossfire. We tackled two synthetic tests earlier this year, Star Swarm and 3DMark , but due to timing and other industry events, we are waiting for a better time to test the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark as the game nears completion. One woman has gone to extreme measures to save her place in the queue for Apple’s new iPhone 6s by setting up a droid so she can continue working instead of waiting in the cold. Lucky Kelly is currently third in line at Sydney’s Apple store and plans to be the first droid to buy the latest iPhone when it goes on sale on Friday morning. ‘It’s so busy at work and I was caught between wanting to the first to buy an iPhone and fulfil work duties,’ Ms Kelly told Daily Mail Australia. She said the media agency she works for – Atomic 212 – had a number of the robots in the office. ‘I thought it would be funny to sneak one out and put it in the queue,’ Ms Kelly said. ‘A guy has been there for 17 days, but I’m third in line.
