Scottsdale, Ariz — When the Rockies were able to get a late-inning lead last season, it often didn’t last long. An injury-riddled Colorado bullpen posted a major-league worst 5.13 ERA and blew 28 saves. Enter Mike Dunn and Greg Holland, 31-year-old relievers who signed with the Rockies this winter. Both hope to bring a fearless mentality to Coors Field and a bullpen that has frequently scared away potential newcomers. “These guys are adults. These guys are legit as far as being competitors.
